Slippery Pete was played by the guy who kidnapped Jerry Lundegaard's wife with Steve Buscemi. He was the guy who wanted pancakes and didn't talk very much. Interesting to see him in a role with more than 3 lines.....

It was the other guy, not Buscemi.
It's Peter Stormare. He had a bit part in the lost world and was also in the Coen brother's The Big Lebowski.
Peter Stromhere(sp?) played Slippery Pete he was in Fargo as the guy who put Steve Buschmei in a chipper shreader. He was also in The Big Lebowski as a German nilhast.
Slippery Pete's name is Peter Stormare.
He can also currently be seen, again playing a killer, in a small role in "Mercury Rising."
