TONIGHT'S EPISODE WITH GEORGE AND THE PHOTOGRAPHY LADY AND ELAINE AND THE DOCTOR AND JERRY AND THE MAIL FRAUD WAS SO GOOD IM GOING TO EXPLODE. A RELIGION NEEDS TO BE STARTED AND BASED ON THIS EPSIODE- ITS THE BEST THING IVE EVER SEEN ON TV

Once again, it's time for the question that never seems to get answered, let's see if Gussel Timer wants to take a shot. If you are going to suggest that the departure of Larry David caused a decline in Seinfeld, explain why The Bottle Deposit and The Envelopes (last year's finale) were so poorly received.

Since Larry David had announce that he was leaving before the two late season episodes were done last year, one whould have to question how much Larry David was still involved with the show by that time.

I thought that last nights episode was great, but no amazing. There have been better episodes no question about that. The funniest part of the show was when Kramer was running into Jerry's apartment cooking, and saying that the recipe said it was for 4 to 6 people and he was making it for 183, and then says "I gues I made a mistake", I was rolling on the floor. The scens with Frank's flashback were very funny as well. A lot of characters that have not been in the episode before this season were well used. The Yankees, Frank and Estelle and Banja. Did anyone notice that the girl that played Jerrys girl friend is from MY So Called life. I guess Jerrys trying to mirror the show to his life. His age double his girlfriends, and finnaly the debate is over Elaine is not Jewish.

Wow ! Imagine that. There are two actresses out there both called AJ Langer who look identical. Think of the headaches their agents must have.

THANK YOU!!! I knew that I knew her---I just couldn't place her at all---I guess it was because she "softened" up her hairstyle and make-up (to say the least...). Good eye!

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was. . . I think her name's A.J. Langer (?) - She played Rayanne. She certainly looked different though!

Too easy. The answer is that even the comedic genius Larry David didn't bat 1.000, though he did hit quite a few out of the park. There have been claims that David was mainly responsible for the fast, snappy dialogue that was a trademark of Seinfeld, and is sorely missing this season (see "The Soul Mate", what an awful episode!). Or maybe it's just true they were running out of ideas last season, and David knew when to jump ship. That doesn't mean there's no hope for the new season, though; "The Package" and "The Bizarro Jerry" were both up to par, IMHO.

One thing I thought Larry brought to the table was the joy of neurosis. For example, when George got the massage: "He was touching and rubbing and rubbing and touching" (Well, that's a massage) "It moved"

The deep seated fear and insecurity in this and many other situations made for some extremely funny situations.

Hey, that's a great parody of posters who blindly proclaim that every new Seinfeld (even the bad ones) is an instant classic. I love the missing punctuation and the all caps - it gives it that truly idiotic look.
