Betrayal - 3rd time

I taped the betrayal and watched it for the first time last night. It wasn't any funnier than the 2nd time I watched it on Friday or the 3rd time when I saw the original on Thursday.

George's girlfriend, "Susan" is the one that he was betrothed to ---- as though he could ever plead troth to ANY one ----- and who, upon her licking of an endless number of poisonous wedding card envelopes, accounted for her finite existence with the Absolute Sum of the Totality of her Life, expired before they could be married.

Susan was the cute blonde one that deserved somebody (just about anybody, so far as I could reckon) better than George. I wouldn't be surprised if the actress had been promised a certain number of appearances in her contract with Castlerock Productions (the Seinfeld producers, I believe), and when they discovered they had killed her off prematurely, they had to figure out a way to get her back into the show again. Thus, the "India Wedding" episode, with Resurrection and the Wheel of Life, and Wishing as Being, as background themes for laying out the jet-set fast track for the Seinfeld cast.

Kind of makes a person want to read Hesse's Siddhartha or something:

And in the shade of our collective television room, many of us watched, but few of US awoke, much less understood . . .

- I thought she was talking about Nina. Nina was on NYPD Blue a couple of years ago as Det. Lesniak.
