Neither the Maestro nor Crazy Joe Davola was in the finale. I don't know why...they may have been there originally and wound up being cut...several guest spots were cut b/c the show originally ran way over the time limit.

Gads! I sure would like to know who did the final editing on that disappointing finale. It seems so many MORE interesting people were left on the cutting room floor to make way for the Jackie Chile's Show.. Although a great character, there shouldn't have been so much of him at the expense of the other colorful characters over the years--including the main stars! I would love to have seen Crazy Joe one last time. alt showbiz gossip
