Fans praise the finale as near-perfect, celebrating how it stayed true to the show's strength of finding humor in petty observations and poked fun at the characters themselves.
I think all Seinfeld fans who have seen every episode at least a dozen times will agree that this final episode neared perfection. You can argue plot all you want, but its the petty comments made throughout every plot that made the show work and they didnt disappoint in the final episode. A perfect show and the perfect tribute.

Very well put. Each week, we never knew what to expect, and the final show was completely unexpected. It was pure genuis to poke fun at the gang as they have poked fun at life for the last nine years.

And on top of the pure genius, how about the unprecedented generosity behind this script which pulled in all the characters/actors who have given us so many laughs and delights above and beyond the multi-talented four main characters.
Seinfeld shared the limelight....the big global strob light of his over-hyped last show...with everyone, almost literally everyone who has been written in at one time or other to contribute to a story line, immortalising them also, in a sense. You don't see this in creative circles....not ever. Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, each, are one of a kind.
Bravo for locking up Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer. For a whole year I won't have to wonder where they are or what they are doing. (I'd insert a smiley here but sophisticated Newsgroups just HATE smileys......even though not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.)
