New York...Seinfeld moving from channel 11 to channel 5?

I was watching channel 5 (FOX) last night and they kept running an ad teasing that Seinfeld was coming to the network's late night lineup...the commercials never said Seinfeld was coming, but they did say that your favorite stand up comic was coming, with the name Jerry in the background written the way the Seinfeld logo usually is...another add said Jerry and Elaine were coming soon...one said that someone was moving and had boxes with the names Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer...now it seems easy to assume that Seinfeld is coming to channel 5, but I thought maybe they might just be advertising for something else trying to get people to think it's Seinfeld...plus I'm trying to imagine Seinfeld not on channel 11...boy, first the Yankees move to channel 5 and now Seinfeld...seems fitting though...

and it will be nice to see Seinfeld on at 11 PM again...since it moved to 7:30 PM on channel 11, I only watch when I remember to...7:30 is a bad time, I'm usually online or doing something...but 11 PM, I remember when it used to be on at 11 on 11...I used to go to bed watching it...with it back on at 11 every night, I'll be watching it every night again...

I saw the same Jerry + Elaine ad myself tonight. Fox has Seinfeld in Upstate New York markets, so I guess they now will have it in NYC. Did you catch what date it starts on Fox? I thought it said April, but I can't be sure.

I think you've got the times reversed. Seinfeld reruns have always been on at 7:30 in Philadelphia (weekend episodes: Sunday at 11:00pm).

It was a while ago. Is it still 7:30 in Philly?

There's some truth to that, but it's not totally true. In Utica, it's a Fox atation. In Binghamton, it's a CBS station. It's just syndicated, not on any particular network.

A couple of years ago, I could watch seinfeld three times a day if I wanted to:

7:00 Utica 7:30 Binghamton 11:00 Ch. 11 NYC

and on Thurdays, it was first run on NBC (Four times, Jerry. Four times!)

Then they took Ch. 11 off our cable (And Ch. 5 too)
