Fans praise The Switch as a hilarious episode with brilliant imagining from George and a great noir parody, though some debate whether other season 6 episodes like The Doorman are even better.
THE SWITCH was on TV last night and by God is that one funny episode. A little wacky and silly but really quite funny.
George imagining how the switch would work out was brilliant, as was Jerry's speech about being one of those guys. The faux film noir meeting between Newman and Babs Krammer was great too.
A few boring ones in season six, but this makes it all worthwhile.

Hey, wait a sec! "The Doorman" is from season 6 and that one's fantastic! Better than "The Switch", IMO. There's also "The Race" (which also had George and the Texas businessmen and their "bastards", "sons of bitches") and "The Diplomat's Club" ("By the way, Jerry, I don't want you to freak out, but the pilot is going to be in the audience"). Season 6 also had "The Couch". Oh no, season 6 was a winner! On this there can be a no debate!
George yelling into the phone I found funny, cause it reminded me of a phone call I overhead once. I was in this young guy 's office and he was yelling at this older gentleman over the phone. After he ended the phone call, I told him I was suprised for his lack of respect for a co-worker. He then told me the fellow is hard of hearing and sometimes doesn't wear his hearing-aid, so everyone has to shut over the phone to him.
