I've yet to have the same reaction as the majority of people here about a new episode. It's amazing really how consitantly we disagree. I've liked most of the new eps while hearing each week, on Friday, how it was the worst one yet. However I must say that "The Frogger", in my opinion, is the worst Seinfeld since "The Limo", which I often fast forward through when I watch tapes. "The Frogger" was about as un-Seinfeldian as you could hope to get. I laughed once, and that was in the opening teaser. What was up with that scene with Elaine talking to the statues about eating more cake? And Georges scene moving the machine across the street, it was so obvious that it was coming....it just didn't belong on this show. BTW, I'm an EE and I can't think of any possible way that you could go from 120V AC to a car battery and not lose power at least long enough to wipe out the scores and wouldn't you think the owner of the pizza shop would have unplugged it once in ten years? Or a power outage.......

Viewers criticize "The Frogger" as un-Seinfeldian with an implausible premise about George moving an arcade machine, though some defend the technical feasibility of the power conversion plot point.
Good work, man. You certainly have thrown down the gauntlet in challenging this absurd premise. How dare they! Preposterous, egregious and outrageous!

I agree! If the power doesn't quit, then the episiode is clearly a piece of shit.
Don't some games have a built-in battery backup? I remember plugging in games after they were unplugged and the high scores didn't reset.
They do now.....but we're lucky that Frogger was in color.......it was one of the originals...
Although I don't think The Frogger was as bad as The Limo, I too found last night's episode below par. The funniest part, in my opinion, was during the closing credits when Peterman asked Elaine if she knew what that old buttercream frosting would do to her, therefore exacting his revenge.
I was thinking the same thing during the show. Granted we're not talking about reality here but it just seemed a little too neat and clean for George's initials to still be in the game.
That would be "butter-based" frosting.

Rick, I agree with you. I laughed only at the part where Kramer taped around the broken eggs on Jerry's floor. This episode really showed the writer's straining for laughs and the characters more caricatured than in the last several enjoyable episodes. Almost like everyone has one foot out the door (of Jerry's apartment.)
