The Seinfeld Companion is pretty cool as a reference, but I knew a lot of the stuff already. I have a question: who here's been watching since the _very_ beginning? The first one I saw was "The Jacket," and I've seen every one in order since "The Heart Attack." I don't know anyone who saw the original pilot when it was shown in 1989, although I saw _part_ of it during the 1990 reruns. Dave

I saw the pilot when it was originally aired, I guess it must've came on right after a show that I usually watched. (Does anybody remember which show it originally followed?) I wasn't that impressed but I kept on coming back to watch it... it of course grew on me and now its the only show I watch thanks to this stupid thing called _college_ Oh Well...

Oh and by the way it just so happens that I have another reason why I like the show. You're not gonna believe this but my dad went to high school with Michael Richards! He's even in my dad's yearbook! My dad says that he was exactly the same nut in high school. My dad was going to be an actor when he grew up but decided against it. He acted opposite Richards in some school plays. Kurt Russell also kind of attended the same school. I say kinda because he was so busy doing stupid Disney movies that he was taught on the set.

Like I said, I saw _part_ of the first episode during the 1990 reruns. I may still have the opening on tape, because the local station ran it after the Simpsons. I knew Jerry from the Spy "How To Be Famous" special, and thought he was a _little_ bit annoying. Btw I've seen Jerry's "Standup Confidential" special. It's really pretty bad. Dave
