A Nipple Episode Question

Does anybody know.....the photo which embarassed Elaine....did the photo capture her bare skin or just a shadow through her clothes?, or am I being too literal?

When Kramer took Elaine's photograph, he gave her a button down shirt to wear. Unfortunately one of the buttons was not buttoned. It was through this openning that Elaine's nipple was exposed. True, Elaine would have had to have been positioned in a certain way for the right part to have been exposed, but this is what had to have happened.

i agree, there was definite exposure. remember when elaine's boyfriend came to her office? he was angry about the christmas card he had just received. they ended up fighting and her parting comment to him was something about the nipple of his soul being exposed.

I thought it was a combination of the buttons on her blouse and the angle Kramer used in shooting the picture. Recall that it wasn't her whole breast (which it would be if it were due to a low-cut dress); it was just her nipple.
