my favorite george moment was in "the butter shave"

he bumps into the old man's scooter, when the old man confronts him, he says

"what's that, the 4 volt model? I did you a favor."

then he proceeds to be chased on scooters by a group of senior citizens.

i like the comment he passes when jerrry confronts him about being caligula.

JERRY: Natural? Sex is about love between a man and a woman, not a man and a sandwich.

GEORGE: Jerry, I'm not suggesting getting rid of the girl. She's integral. (thanks to 13erla for the script paste)

cracks me up everytime.

for me it HAS to be the episode (I THINK it's "the foundation") when he calls marissa tomet (excuse spelling) and tells her that he's now a free agent after susan dying:

"well i have the funeral but other than that my weekend's pretty free"...

classic costanza!!!!

One memorable moment was when George goes to the airport to pick Jerry and he needs to know the time. The person standing next to him would tell him the time, pointing in the direction of the clock. George cannot help but tries forcefully to catch the time on his watch to which the man responds "are you a nut" etc. I thought this was a funny moment.

Wouldn't mind knowing which episode this is so I can read the script.

Heh, except they are binaries. ;-) You're using OE6, so it may be something in your configuration. An easy way to possibly fix this is to open up OE and select Tools --> Options --> Send, then down in the News Sending Format area click on the Plain Text button. You may also want to click the Plain Text Settings button and make sure Uuencode is selected, rather than MIME.

I love the bit where George is in the cafe and accidentially swallows a fly, and then proceeds to choke and freak out.

MONICA: And coffee?

GEORGE: Yeah, had some coffee, yeah.

GEORGE: Where did I get the coffee? Where do think I got the coffee, at the grocery store. (small laugh)

MONICA: How did you get there?

GEORGE: I walked.

MONICA: How did you get out of the apartment? I didn't see you leave.

I have hard time deciding on the favorite George moments. I have some choices, in no particular order:

1. The butter shave is one my favorite: when he asks Jerry to kindly help him unwedge his wheel (or something like that) and Jerry smirks. He presses on the horn. Effing funny!

2. When, in The Ex-girlfriend (Episode 6), he goes to the chiropractor and says: oh hello..........DOCtor looking at Jerry. and then gets out of there, amazed by the cost. Am I being entertained?

3. When he, along with Jerry, fake disgust when they hear Sue Ellen Mischke is walking around not wearing a bra.

I forget a lot, but they wouldn't be favorite if I named them all, right?

Actually "the Opposite" is FULL of great George moments ("I'm unemployed, I have no money and I live with my parents" followed by that incredible look into the camera...telling Steinbrenner what he thinks of him... the little thing at the end where he tells his parents he loves them...). The more I've rewatched that episode the more I am positive that it is the best episode the series produced.... I used to list it as my 4th or 5th favorite... but with the benefit of reruns and multiple viewings, it is, for me anyway, the ep that holds up best over multiple viewings.

I don't know who Bozo is, what - is he a clown? GEORGE: Is he a clown? What, are you kidding me!? ERIC: Well, what is he? GEORGE: Yes, he's a clown! ERIC: Alright, so what's the big deal! There's millions of clowns! GEORGE: Alright, just forget it. ERIC: Me forget it? You should forget it! You're livin' in the past, man! You're hung up on some clown from the sixties, man!
