Did anyone see SNL a couple of months ago when Jerry hosted? They did a skit that was a take-off on Jeopardy! where the clues were things like "What is with (somebody or something) anyway?", and the 'answers' were all funny, but the winning answer was always the completing line to one of Jerry's past jokes. It was halarious.

Fans discuss a hilarious SNL skit where Jerry hosted and performed a Jeopardy parody with clues about "what's the deal with" various things, with answers referencing his comedy style.
Yes, that SNL skit that was a spoof of Jeopardy was hilarious.
Airlines for 100:
"And what's with the food"
"It's like Beef Stroganoff. The stuff makes you hurl but the guy sitting next to you can't get enough of it!"
Best skit of the year IMHO.

Okay, here's how it actually went.
"What is the deal with the Beef Stroganoff."
Answer:
"I know. I mean I'm lookin' for a dog to slip it to. The guy next to me - he can't get enough. He's askin' for thirds."

I personally liked the Elijah the Prophet skit -- I thought that was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen in my life. My favorite lines:
"Are you going to believe a pimply-faced kid or Elijah the Prophet?"
Sidling up to the 15-yr old girl, "I'm Elijah the Prophet."
"This soup is salty!! What, did Lot's wife fall in the soup?"

Included in this skit was (paraphrased):
"I'm going to hide the afikomen", winks to the young girl, and says, "Of course, I'm going to let *you* find it!"

My fave part was when Jesus comes in at the end, and Elijah and Jesus give each other high-fives and Jesus says:
"Where's the wine???"
CLASSIC!

Didn't they also say: "I'm looking for a dog to hand it off to, and the guy next to me is asking for thirds!"
Great skit. Of course, in typical SNL fashion, they had to overuse the "Who are the marketing wizards that thought up this one?" line.
I loved their stand-up "voices" they all did for this skit.
"Beef jerky. What's with it?"
It went like this:
Seinfeld as host Bobby Weet: "And the final Stand-up and Win question is - Oprah. What is with HER?
The winning answer was: "She's fat, she's thin, she's fat, she's thin, I mean COME ON - PICK a body and go with it."
Seinfeld: "That's right!"
By the way, those jokes were not jokes that Jerry has used in the past, but were representative of jokes that standard, no personality comedians (A&E) use on a regular basis. That's why they were all using that bogus inflection. Admittedly, Jerry uses that tone also. I mean COME ON. Because I'd like to KNOW!
