did you say that the BOYFRIEND was the worst episode? with keith hernendez? that was possible the best episode, one of the best in tv hisory(4th according to tv guide) everyone has there own opinion, but there is no way that is the worst episode. it's definetly one of the five best(IMO) dan

Well, fortunately, we are allowed the freedom to have our own opinions, in mine & my "Spouce's" opinion, "The Boyfriend" didn't cut it with us, sorry, that's life, but I'm sure others would disagree.Many people didn't like "The Susie", personally, it's in our Top 5 episodes.Everyone has their tastes.. I wonder if there's a way to do a sorta scientific poll of a large number of us ATSers. We could get a sample listing of maybe 30-50 episodes and those who were interested could rate them on a scale, 1-4 stars, for example. Someone could compile a list and we'd come up with a top ten, 20, 30, whatever based on our votes.

Maybe that's insane. Maybe not. I don't know. I'm just always very surprised when I see people's top 5 shows or worst 5 or whatever. This would be a way of perhaps getting a clearer picture of what folks like around here.

I tried once. It didn't work out very well at all. I thied ranking the eps and got bogged down right from the start. I couldn't pick a favorite. In fact, I couldn't even narrow it down to my 10 favorites in no particular order. Hell, I couldn't even pick my hundred favorites!

Sorry Bobby, I didn't write that, I thought "The Boyfriend" episode was pathetic.

was one of the episodes that defined the entire show.   The JFK
parody was sublime.  George's 'latex salesman for Vandelay Industries'
bit was absolutely inspired!   The whole 'Jerry's relationship with
Keith Hernandez' plot was a joy to behold.

"The Boyfriend" was the high water mark at the time, being the best of the first 35 episodes. TV Guide selected it as one of the top 100 episodes OF ANY SHOW OF ALL TIME. Since the dawn of television, there have only been a few episodes of ANYTHING that compared to "The Boyfriend".

The episode with all the keys is called "The Keys". "The Trip" is a two part episode in which George and Jerry go to LA
