Hey all!
I was watching an episode of "My Three Sons" on TVLand not that long ago...and the plotline was quite similar to "The Puffy Shirt" episode of "Seinfeld". The dad (forget his name...was it Steve?) somehow committed to wearing a puffy shirt in front of a large group of people. Anyone seen this?
Here is a ep. synopsis from tvtome.com. "Barbara becomes involved in presenting a fashion show for a woman's club luncheon, and Steve reluctantly agrees to become a model for a fashion show, but refuses at the last minute when he realizes he must wear a lacy, ruffled shirt and parade down a runway modeling it."

Some of Jerry's plots have been lifted from old sitcoms- it's nothing new or unusual. Everyone does it. (Notice none of his shows are similair to any "I Love Lucy" plots. This is because Jerry claims to have never seen an episode of Lucy.

It may be true that there are no I Love Lucy plots (I haven't seen it either so I can't tell), but since Jerry wasn't all that involved in the writing I don't see the cause-and-effect here.

And Ed Norton was an immediate precurser to Kramer.... but this great stuff should ALWAYS stay in use! Kramer says, "Hello ball"! and then hits it to the whale.

Oh, definitely! Kramer's physical humor is very Norton. The Rev. Jim also reminds me of Kramer.
