Who was Beth?

Was I the only one who thought Beth was not the same character who played Beth a few seasons ago? Didn't she have an accent?

You're confusing this character with the virgin character that runs off with John Kennedy, jr. That same actress is now on Frasier. Beth was played by th same actress as before.

Beth was played by Deborah Messing, who played Stacy on "Ned And Stacy." Jane Leeves (who plays Daphne on FRASIER) played Marla the Virgin.
