Wondering if anyone saw the TBS "Seinfeld Forever" special that was rerun last night (probably in honor of their purchase of the Seinfeld syndication rights for after the year 2001 or something). They showed a couple scenes from "The Finale", and also a few little bits that seemed to have been cut. I rewatched the "finale" several times on my tape and could not find some of these things they showed on TBS. Anyways, to the best of my knowledge, this was what i saw... ) = from the finale $ =cut from the finale
KRAMER (with the jer, george & elaine in the holding cell): )The Samaritans were an anciant tribe...very helpful. GEORGE: $ Where do you get this stuff?
THE VIRGIN (on the stand) : )...gratifying themselves! ELAINE: $ it's better than bein a PRUDE! $ (Jerry, George, Jackie Chiles look at her with discontent after she realizes her $ stupidity...)
Then there was one more part they showed at the end of the special, while the host was rambling on about something like how great the show was, and we saw a scene in the finale, obviously in the jail cell where it looked like Elaine was coming on to the officer and then the special ended with Elaine saying, to the officer, who was ignoring her... "Anything gettin' through?" (i assume that line was a throwback to Elaine trying to test that new guy's hearing aid in "The Fryer's Club".) then they went to the credits. Anyone know when that special will be on again, I'd really like to tape it. maybe someday i'll buy some equipment and edit the cuts with my tape of the finale and possibly make it better.
