Question about last night's show

I missed part I of this episode (involves Kramer in L.A.). In part II, I didn't understand what was going on when George flailed around in the bed in the hotel room he was sharing with Jerry.

He had specifically asked the 'room care' (I forgot the proper word) boy NOT to tuck his sheets in under the mattress like all hotels do. (Something I personally hate as well).

The _chambermaid_ (f), Lupe, was the one who was to not tuck. George wanted a no-tuck, Jerry wanted a tuck. That's one tuck, one no-tuck, OK. She delivered, just with the no-tuck and tuck mixed up.

I loved how George still has his obsession with cleaning ladies. "What makes chambermaids so attractive, anyway?" "It's a woman in your room."

Also, did they just get into the wrong beds at night? I thought George asked for a "no-tuck" on the bed on the right.

"What mood are you in today?" "This is morning mist."

in the first Lupe part, george is standing to the right of the right bed. in the final scene he is sleeping in the left bed. jerry is in the right bed and, as we recall, didnt care either way....how did they get switched?

so Lupe didnt get mixed up. perhaps they just thought she did...?

Right. So there's this scene that starts with a close-up of the bed. Something moves underneath the blankets. The camera pulls away, and we see that it's George kicking the blankets, attempting to "untuck" them.

While George is struggling, Jerry makes some comment. Unfortunately, I didn't catch it. Anyone know what it was?

George and Jerry had a bet that their hotel maid was going to tuck both sides of the bed in. George had told the maid to tuck in only one side of the bed. Jerry won the bet.

An explanation just doesn't do the scene justice. Try to find someone who taped it. You just have to see the scene with the dialog between George, Jerry and Lupe (the chamber maid).
