I know that this topic was discussed at some length before, but I really didn't follow the thread very closely. My brother (who does not have access to this newsgroup) claims that almost every character on the program, even the minor ones, are stereotypically Jewish. From what I remember of the previous discussion here, not many people agreed with him, but I could be wrong. Anyone willing to fill me in? Thanks.

I doubt Elaine "I don't even know what Kosher means" is casted as stereitypically Jewish! :-)
that reminds me of th "O'Brian, Murphy" epsiode: to pretend to be clam & relaxed, George started to whistle "fiddler on the roof" in the white supremists' limo ... it just killed me right there.
All the characters except Kramer use guilt to manipulate the others. This is a kind of Jewish trait (although Italians use it too...). In general, though, none of the characters exhibit any religious characteristics.
