Chance of complete boxset?

I was really impressed by the looks of the Friends complete series boxset: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AM4PBS/103-4091012-3753447 but was not enough of a fan to buy it (close though).

Has anyone heard rumours whether Seinfeld will have something similar? I've held off the individual seasons because of this hope, but would pick a complete boxset up in a shot. Someone posted the series is so much funnier when watched in order, and some episodes never seem to get aired locally.

Anyone else feel the same?

I am sure they will put out the entire boxset once all others have been released, for two reasons:

I wrote a similar post a few months ago, with no reply or interest.

But I feel there will be one. It seems to be the trend with every other popular show that's been released on DVD (Friends, Sex and the city, etc).

Of course, this can't happen until all seasons come out - and this does help the studio, because many die-hards buy the sets again just for the packaging. I have seasons 1-4, but have held off on buying any more until the end. Honestly, it's because I think the whole series in one set will take up less space than 8 individual boxes.

The current selling of all 6 seasons isn't really a 'complete set', it's more of a bundling option for those who have none of the seasons, who can get them a little cheaper and together.

I wouldn't put any images on the covers. The seasonal DVDs have been out for a while, and the show is widely syndicated - so the characters are well ingrained in people's imagination.

Since this would be a special collection of the whole show, I would use a padded vinyl clamshell case - kind of referencing the seats in a diner (or coffee shop). The vinyl is the same blue used on the DVD covers now, with the Seineld logo centered, and just "The Complete Series" - no other graphics.
