Me and jerry

i've met jerry ,he's cool

I never bothered to mention this on the newsgroup because I thought either it would be boring, or it would be indistinguishable from any fabrication that someone wanted to post.

I was at a news stand in West Los Angeles at about 2AM and saw a gorgeous dark haired girl coming around the comics rack. I thought to myself, "What in the world is this babe doing out by herself at this hour? Something must be wrong. It turns out she was with this guy who bore an amazing resemblance to Jerry Seinfeld. I thought for about 3 seconds as to whether or not to bother him, and I realized that: (1) I love the show, (2) the show is hot now(this was about 4 years ago), (3) I would probably never have this happen again and (4) if he blows me off, I have an even more interesting story to tell.

He was dressed just about like he does on the show: Sneaks, jeans, leather jacket; he was drivng a black Porsche. He was very pleasant and said nothing that would make you think that he was worth millions. He autographed some stupid piece of paper that I pulled out of my pocket (which I have since lost). The woman was Ms. Lonstein. I can not remember exactly what he said because I was kind of excited.

I also attended a taping of the show in the penultimate season, and that was a lot of fun. It was "The Comeback" ("George the ocean called.....they're running out of shrimp").

At the same newstand, I ran into John Larroquette and Franklyn Ajaye. A lot of funny people seem to like that stand.

Hope this wasn't too boring.
