Here's from the Entertainment Asylum website. The whole story just gets weirder and weirder.

LOS ANGELES -- Although last week's Seinfeld episode was supposed to be the finale, some show biz insiders think the show may return for the 1999 season.

The final episode hinted at the possibility when the judge sentenced all four main characters to a year-long jail sentence and Seinfeld announced: "Well, it's only a year and then we're back."

More evidence comes from entertainment journalist Anita Talbert who asked Jerry if he was really willing to turn down the $5-million-per-episode salary reportedly offered by NBC. Seinfeld got a weird little grin on his face and told her: "It's all going to be a big surprise."

Talbert says some high-ranking show biz insiders now predict the "Seinfeld" stars and staff are just taking a one year vacation and will be back in the Fall of 1999.
