A lot of talk has been going on about Jerry beeing on the internet, well UnixWorld December 1993 has an article "It's Crunch-Time in Cyberspace" by Gary Andrew Poole that starts like this : "Every four minutes another enthusiast joins the likes of peroxided rocker Billy Idol, postminimalist comedian Jerry Seinfeld, and quasi-New age president Bill Clinton to sign onto the Internet. For many net veterans, these new subscribers are indicative of the passing of a more innocent age and of a network that is no longer the domain of pocket-protectored intelectuals and random flame-addicts." and goes on ..... so what about it ? is Jerry really on the Internet ? does he knows about this news-group ? ... maybe will never know for sure. And why "postminimalist" ? ...

About Jerry being on the Net. Of course it's possible and even likely. If he reads this news-group, he probably is just lurking, finding out what we in the "real world" say about him. Plus, I'm sure he realizes that posting to this group would guarantee a landslide of e-mail messages clogging up his reader! =:-]
Now, about the postminimalism. . . It's probably just another instance of journalists trying to be hip and using terms they don't understand 8-) I mean, everything nowadays is "post-" something. Post-modern, post-industrial. And while, in most cases, the differentiation makes sense (art and literature have developed to a point beyond the "modernism" of the early Twentieth Century), in this case it sounds like somebody trying to sound '90s.
