I'm in a 'Laney kind of a mood today for some reason. I can't get these two lines out of my head, which I love (sorry, I'm not as hardcore a fan as some of you guys, I don't know the ep or season).
When she's on the plane and she says something like "I'm sitting here between Puddy and Vegetable Lasagna" haha and Vegetable Lasagna says "Excuse me, I"m sitting right here and I can hear you."
Or when she says "We already have a George." to George in the Bizarro episode. hahaha
i don't like emb.... i find her obnoxious.... she is rude and everything..... i especially started to hate her when she did something to her hair and her face started looking glossy and everything..... i didn't mind the old elaine....who was plain and simple..... and another thing, she's a feminist.
JERRY: But you yadda yadda'ed over the best part! ELAINE: No, I mentioned the lobster bisque. ---------------------------------- ELAINE: Svengalie! ---------------------------------- ELAINE: Maybe the Dingo ate your baby. ---------------------------------- ELAINE: You know, men can sit through the most boring movie if there's even the slightest possibility that a woman will take her top off. ---------------------------------- ELAINE: It shrinks? JERRY: Like a frightened turtle. ELAINE: I dunno how you guys walk around with those things. ----------------------------------
The Bus Boy ============= I never new I could drive like that. I was going faster than I've ever gone before, and yet, it all seemed to be happening in slow motion. I was seeing three and four moves ahead, weaving in and out of lanes like an Olympic skier on a gold metal run. I knew I was challenging the very laws of physics. At Queens Boulevard, I took the shoulder. At Jewel Avenue, I used the median. I had it. I was there.. and then.. I hit the Van Wyck. They say no one's ever beaten the Van Wyck, but gentlemen, I tell you this - I came as close as anyone ever has. And if it hadn't been for that five-car-pile-up on Rockaway Boulevard, that numbskull would be on a plane for Seattle right now instead of looking for a parking space downstairs.
It's BROWN!
The Subway ========== No, no, no, you don't understand! I'm not a lesbian! I hate men, but I'm not a lesbian!
It might have been mentioned here already; but when she left that sexy message on Jerry's recorder; Also when she begs Jerry to have sex with her telling him he can read during. And then asks if Kramer is home. Also when Puddy tells her she is going to hell and she whines "you should care that i am going to hell, you should want to save me.".. The list goes on.
Is that when she is on the plane to bangladesh to go to Suzanne Mishgee's (sp?) wedding to peter where the episode proceeds in reverse time. (Which is such a great episode to see when Jerry and Kramer first meet: and Jerry sets the tone "we're neighbors what's mine is yours, something like that)
Or is that the time that she and Puddy keep breaking up and she is talking to "vegetable lasagna here". Or are they both the same I don't think so?
We'll have to let one of the professionals answer. Those were the two that were sticking in my mind but I'm not sure. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. The look on her face....priceless. jp wrote in message ...
I love it when she yells out 'Stella Stella'. It never fails to crack me up.
This is not one of her lines but I love the dancing scene in The Little Kicks. We saw this while waiting in a shop for some take-away chicken and we were in hysterics. It's a wonder she didn't need to be in traction for a week after that scene.
I love when she says "Get out!" and shoves Jerry. The classic one is when she shoves Jerry's evil twin in the Bizarro World episode and they all get mad at her!
"Have you seen a tall, lanky dufus with a bird face and hair like the bride of Frankenstein?" - Elaine, describing Kramer, in "The Movie" Verbila wrote in message ...
That's right... "A pretty woman, you know, kinda short, big wall of hair, face like a frying pan." - George, describing Elaine, in "The Movie" Mark Mellin wrote in message ...
And while we're at it here's the description for the rest of 'em...
"A guy who's about five foot eleven, he's got uh, a big head and
flared nostrils." - Kramer, describing Jerry, in "The
Movie"
"Like, a horse face, big teeth, and a pointed nose."
- George, describing Jerry, in "The Movie"
"A short guy with glasses, looked like Humpty Dumpty with a melon head."
- The ticket lady, describing George,
in "The Movie"
my favorite: Elaine says to George: "you want a card? you want a card?" then she grabs George's head and mashes his face into her chest. Afterward, George is visibly shaken and his hair is all over the place!
"I mentioned the *bisque*..." It's all in the ways she says it. Or "I don't like this thing!! And here's what I am going to do with it!" The look on her face when she drops the blind on George and slaps her hands together is great!
I know, George did. (And yes, I do know the subject matter, just trying to liven things up a bit ;) "wishberry" wrote in message news:NRyn8.3636$[email]...
Frank says it in the episode where George is the 'bad' boy, and gets busted and sent to the police station. Frank shows up to get George, and says "Who put you up to this? My George isn't clever enough to hatch a scheme like this."
To which Elaine replies: "You got that right".
Frank then says "What the hell does that mean?"
Which leads to the famous "You wanna piece of me?" line...
almost on a daily basis my bf and i use these 2 lines, btw, and we say it like i wrote it in the previous msg.
thanks for the reminder. i never remember which ep and who says it anymore. doesn't matter how many time i see the episodes i still laugh hard everytime. why can't they make sitcoms like this anymore these days?!

I love the whole Elaine monologue at the end of The Barber where she's describing Kramer's qualities in the auction. The line "... he likes fruit", cracks me up every time.
