I've been wondering if Mr. Steinbrenner is caricatured with the permission of the real Mr. Steinbrenner. Is this done with his consent and approval? Ariosa

Once again I saw on some show, which I can't remember the name of right now, that Jerry does run all his ideas by the real Mr. Steinbrenner. They interviewed the real Mr. Steinbrenner and he said he has no problems with anything Jerry has done to make fun of him. He is a fan of the show, and thinks it is good for one to laugh at him/her self. He said that he lets Jerry do whatever he wants with the Mr. Steinbrenner character.

Absolutely. In fact, Steinbrenner played himself in last year's season finale. Unfortunately, it was edited out of the final cut.

Just what did happen with this "George" when he was supposed to make a (real) appearance on our favorite show (last season, was it)? I never found out; all I heard was that he "didn't make the cut." Thanks in advance.
