Did anyone see this on Channel 5 in the UK?
Todd Macklin was telling us how Dominic Hasek plays hockey like Kramer enters Jerry's apartment. He tells us that Hasek's nickname is Kramer, but not to his face. Apparently a sabres team-mate called him Kramer, and he flushed his pants down the lav.

Here's the version of the story making the rounds in Western NY State, where the Buffalo Sabres are based. Hasek got the "Kramer" nickname not so much from his style of play, but from his lanky physique and occasionally wild hair---in short, the look more than anything else. As to the pants story, could be...although Dominik's more likely to want to flush a Buffalo Evening News sportswriter's HEAD down the john at Marine Midland Arena, than anyone's trousers.
