contradiction in the scripts

In the episode where George and Elaine are unable to interract without Jerry present, one of the things they talk about is how Jerry throws up. Wasn't there an episode where Jerry brags that he hadn't thrown up for something like ten years? If that was the case, how could Elaine have ever seen him throw up?

I think the conversation between George and Elaine took place first. How long have they all known each other?

That's the key. If I recall correctly, in the episode where Jerry bragged to Elaine about how long it had been since he threw up, Elaine seemed to remember it. Ie, she and Jerry knew each other longer than ten years. It's therefore entirely possible that Elaine had been with Jerry when he had thrown up.

Is there anybody who remembers this episode well enough to verify if this was the substance of Elaine's response to Jerry?
