Fans discuss actors and actresses who appeared on both Seinfeld and Friends, sharing examples like Courtney Cox, Bob Balaban, and various guest stars from both shows' 1990s runs.
With the news of a Jason Alexnder appearance coming up on Friends, I thought it would be interesting to note actors/actresses who have appeared on both shows, be it minor or major character.
Here are a few names I can throw up:
Courtney Cox aka Monica/Meryl Bob Balaban aka Russell Dalrimple/Pheobe's Father Jerry's girlfriend/One of the friend's girlfriend's - she shved her head in Friends - cannot remember what episode she was in Seinfeld. Anyone else??
She was in The Van Buren Boys as Jerry's too perfect girlfriend. She appeared as Ross's girlfriend and Phoebe's friend, Bonny in TOW The Ultimate Fighting Champion, TOW At The Beach. Her appearances on Seinfeld and Friends were both in the 96/97 season.
Another one is the roommate in The Switch was Ross's date in TOW The Candy Hearts. These were both in the 94/95 season.
Not really the same but Jerry Stiller's (Frank Coztanza) son Ben was Rachel's date in TOW The Screamer.
Also Maggie Wheeler (Janice) played a part in one episode where Elaine tries to convince her to date George. I don't know the ep though as i've only seen the clip on the 100th show.

Larry Hankins was the TV Kramer when Jerry and George did the pilot for NBC (92-93 season closer.) He was also Mr. Heckles.
I don't know the actor's name but he was Rudy. He owned the place where Kramer bought his clothes in The Raincoats (93-94) He was the building super that Joey had to dance with.
Lynn Clark played Jerry's girlfriend in The Stakeout and The Stock Tip. She was the woman Chandler didn't want to call the next day, because he didn't want to seem too needy. (from the first season.)
Elizabeth Sjoli was a woman who pulled up a chair for George when she saw him in his toupee in The Scofflaw. She played Tia in TOW The Monkee Gets Away.(from the first season.)
Richard Fancy was Elaine's boss at Pendant and was an exec at Bloomingdale's.

Jon Lovitz played a food critic on Friends and the phony cancer patient on Seinfeld. That's right, Jack!
Kristin Davis(Sex in the City) appeared as Jerry's girlfriend, she got tired of his extreme neatness and put his toothbrush in the toilet. She also was in a Friends episode as Joey's girlfriend.
She also appeared as Bania's girlfriend in The Buttershave.

FWIW, the actress in question is Christine Taylor. She's probably best known for her portrayal of Marcia Brady in the two Brady Bunch movies. She also starred in the briefly run Fox series Party Girl, based on the movie of the same name.

There was an episode of Mad About You where Paul Reiser's character decided to give up his former appartment....as it turns out, Paul was subletting it to Kramer (Seinfeld set of Kramer's apartment, co-starring Michael Richards) and Paul visits Kramer to give him the good news.
Also, Mad About You and Friends share the character of Ursula, Phoebe's twin sister. There were Friends episodes where Phoebe visits the Pub where Urula works (the set of Mad About You).
