I thought that show was by far the funniest I have watched! The idea of Newman being compared to the Hindenberg is priceless!! And Kramer being all obsessive over his "adopted" highway. This whole episode was a pure exercise in absurdities extended to their logical extremes. Nothing else on TV can touch the Seinfeld show.

I agree totally. It was a funny show. Everything worked. I can't believe the people who are upset because Newman was torched. IT IS TV FOLKS.

I am amazed at how far Seinfeld has gotten from it's orginal premise. Originally, it was a show about everyday life that had a slight imbalance to it. Things that happened on the show were a little strange, but they could possibly happen in real life. It was a show basically about reality and life in New York. NOW, Seinfeld is a show about a fantasy world, where strange unrealistic characters do unrealistic things. Sometimes these things can be funny, but the show has now become very mean-spirited over the past few seasons. Some people find this funny. I don't particularly, but that's not my point. I find it interesting how the original concept of a show about nothing has been extremely perverted.
To risk offending somebody, I have to agree with with you, Carl. I have been a bit concerned myself about the weakness of SEINFELD since the departure of Larry David, but this episode proves that the show is better than ever. After all, it isn't a documentary! Lately there's not much in life that can me laugh as uproariously as Seinfeld. Let's enjoy it while we can. I've heard rumors that next year will be the last.
