Fans recall the plot of "The Phone Message" where George leaves embarrassing messages on his girlfriend's machine and tries to retrieve the tape using the distraction code "tippy toe."

It was the episode where George left an angry message on his girlfriend's answering machine and then not realizing she'd been out of town, wanted Jerry to go with him so he could attempt to switch the tapes.
At the end, we learn that she listened to the message remotely and all his effort was wasted.
