This episode, IMEO, was one of the best of this season; probably tied with the Merv Griffin Show show.

To read some of the critical posts leaves me shaking my head. If you sit in front of your TV as sober as a judge, well.. most judges, and challenge the show to make you laugh, then the chances are fair to middlin' that you're not gonna laugh. I'm coming to the conclusion that critiquing comedies is like catching butterflies with a sledge hammer.

I agree with Ratboy's summation of the funny stuff in this episode.

You got yourself mixed up a bit, Rolando.

I said I enjoyed the episode. slo lerner agreed with me. Marjorie Chan called slo lerner a loser (and lost a few points in my estimation) Then you stick up for slo lerner (which is commendable) but for the wrong reason.

For the record: I liked it, slo lerner liked it, Marjorie offered nothing of any worth to the thread.

There's so much of this "attack" mentality exhibited on newsgroups that it makes for a rather discouraging afternoon sometimes, slogging through the various posts.
