This is from the TV Guide episode where Bret Easton Ellis said that Seinfeld is the best sitcom in TV history, right? I find it hard to argue against his thesis... But it's not exactly cricket for you to insinuate that all the stars quoted in the article are as disappointed with the show as you are now, Justin. Even if the quality level has dropped like a stone in the past year or two - and I don't think it has, although I definitely prefer the "golden seasons" to the last two - does that mean that Seinfeld is less important in TV history? I wouldn't think so; you might think so, but the stars quoted in TV Guide sound like they would NOT think so. It's a little dishonest for you to put words in their mouth so they sound like they'd support your opinion.

Having said that - and sorry if it's harsh - I think you personally deserve a lot of credit for improving this newsgroup. You've been the most visible critic of the last few seasons, and it's led to some interesting critical discussion of the show. It beats the hell out of a "fan" newsgroup, where nobody criticizes the show at all, which is what some of YOUR critics seem to prefer. They are wrong to tell you not to criticize the show! Just keep doing it intelligently and honestly, that's all.

Well thanks. Here I find allot of people can't handle the critizism.

What I can't handle is your presumptuous attitude (e.g., when you tell the fan from Holland that he will not like this season's episodes), your curmudgeonly tendencies (e.g., in reference to an upcoming episode, "I would like the writers to totally foul this episode up"), and your blatant misogyny (e.g., your need to constantly refer to Elaine as a "slut" or "whore", while overlooking the others' equally active sexual habits).

A year ago, you used to make good contributions to this group -- what happened to you in the past 12 months (non-Seinfeld related) to turn you into such a sourpuss? Half of your current posts reek of trolling.
