People say, "Ohh, well the show had to change, it had to happen, you can't stop change, it was going to become repetative if it didn't change..."
Are you telling me that by the end of the 6th, without any changes, the show would have resorted to repetition? Are you saying that by the end of the 6th season, there were no ideas left on earth that could have kept the show going the way it was? What is wrong with wishing the show was the way it was a few years ago before Larry David departed? Why is it that the "old coots" who like the old shows are sooooo wrong? Is there not validity is pointing out the clear deficiencies of the new shows? Are we not true Seinfeld fans if we contemplate and decipher ever show? What is the crime in that? It seems that this newsgroup believes that simple optimistic phrases such as, "Boy, I liked tonight's show, it was funny" is the only way Seinfeld may be articulated. It seems any kind of lengthy, thought-out article exaiming Seinfeld is cast out as being a load of trash from "those old coots who hate Seinfeld now". Why is this newsgroup here? Aren't we *supposed* to be thoughtfully examining Seinfeld? Obviously the majority of people who write on this newsgroup are fans of the new episodes, yet, it seems that anyone who dares defy the majority belief by posting an article which challanges the "status-quo" of the newsgroup is a "troll", or a "Sein Snob". Com'on, grow up newsgroup.
