in last night's Slicer episode, Elaine's neighbor whose apartment smelled like potatoes was vacationing in Paris and the alarm clock was left on, then the cat was constantly meowing. But later in the same episode, Kramer broke off Elaine's doorknob and fell into the neighbor's apartment. The neighbor yelled at Kramer, who said "Wow, that's alot of potatoes", meaning that the potatoe guy had obviously returned. But in the next scene Elaine was trapped in her apartment and the cat next door was still meowing the same as before. Am I just missing some facts, or was the neighbor back in town and refusing to feed his own cat? Or was this yet another inconsistency?
