Bob Patterson made me laugh my ass off. I don't think ABC gave it a fair chance, constantly changing the night and then pulling the plug after only a few episodes. Jason Alexander was at his best, as funny as he was as George Costanza on Seinfeld.
That show had a lot of potential and could have been as great as Seinfeld if it was given a real chance. (Seinfeld came close to being cancelled in its first season, as did Cheers.)
