The Reverse Peephole

The best lines from tonight's episode:

Elaine: You aren't going to be wearing that all the time, are you? Puddy (wearing 8-ball jacket): All signs point to yes.

As for cuts, they lopped off Newman's glance into Kramer's reverse peephole, after he told Kramer to "you better put something on." I always thought that was out of character for Newman, but then I thought adultery was out of character for him too, but he did it in this episode.

When Jerry is going through George's fat wallet, the cut the line where Jerry says "Irish money?" George says "I might go there."

Also hacked: Kramer's line to Silvio in Jerry apartment: "I've known Newman all my life, in the building." Definitely cuttable.

The line that made me laugh the most was: "That looks like a dead bear!" -Kramer

When that episode first aired, the scene where Newman peeps Kramer spawned a huge "Is Newman gay?" debate in this newsgroup.

Didn't they also cut the line at the end of that scene where George asks Jerry to pass him some Sweet-&-Low (to put in the wallet)?

Newman: "For I am in love with another man's wife and her name is Svetlana. I don't care if the whole world knows it even my Landlord."

Elaine: "Allright, allright that's enough, get out."
