Many of you had complained about the show losing some of its punch. Until last night, I completely disagreed. However, last night's show was not very good.

First, I am still confused about ...

	- What happened to George and that old man??? They got into a fight
	and then his wife ran for a doctor.  However, George did not even
	look rumpled in a later scene.
	- What happend with Joe DeVolo (sp?)?? Did he see the opera???
	Did he ever confront Jerry???
	- Why waste the time showing Joe DeVolo being ganged on in the
	park??? We all know that he is nut.... They could have used that
	time to resolve the incidence and maybe write him out of the script.

I only laughed when I saw George walking around in the small tux and then selling his ticket for the show. Also, it was funny when he said that he wanted at least a reach from her when paying the bills.

Well, not all the shows can be perfect.

JOE WILL MOST LIKELY APPEAR AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE, MAYBE IT WILL GET RESOLVED THEN. YOU KNOW HOW THIS SHOW IS, THEY ALWAYS REFER BACK TO THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN PREVIOUS SHOWS.

CAN'T HELP YA THERE. WHO KNOWS? ASK THE WRITERS. ASK JERRY.

I LAUGHED EVERY TIME JOE SPOKE. THAT CONSTANT EXPRESSION HE HAS ON HIS FACE JUST KILLS ME!!! ALSO I LAUGHED DURING THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION KRAMER HAD WITH JOE WHEN HE WAS A CLOWN. KRAMER'S FACE WHEN HE SAID HE WAS STILL AFRAID OF CLOWNS HAD ME ROLLING ON THE FLOOR.

MAYBE I WAS JUST TOO DOPED UP ON IBUPROFEN BUT I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD SHOW.

So let me get this straight, you did'nt like the show because of some events that were'nt followed up on? How would that make the show funnier? I personally found it quite funny. I liked the pictures of Elaine on the wall especially when she saw the shower one. Jerry doing the ovature from the old Warner Bros. cartoons was pretty good too. I don't know, is it just me? I did'nt think it was bad at all. Oh and someone was questioning if that was George doing the Nissan Altima commercials? That's got to be him, no doubt about it in my mind.

It's my general impression that this show is nothing more than one of those "to be continued" episodes. I think they'll come back next week and continue where they left off. They probably wanted to throw us off by not showing us a "TO BE CONTINUED".

I disagree. I liked how it ended when they all realize that they haven't avoided the Joe DeVola/bad clown confrontation after all.

In fact, that's one of the reasons I like "Seinfeld" so much. They have all these interweaving simultaneous side plots that work up to a near-climax and then the show ends without tying all the loose ends up too nicely. Like the show where the cabin burns--it ends when everyone figures out what's happened (after George et al pass the fire engines and Kramer and Jerry's waitress girlfriend smell smoke while they walk back to the cabin) without showing the hours or days that follow. But then the next show refers back to the cabin and we dfind out that Susan hasn't told her family yet. I think we'll find out about the bad clown in a future show when the characters refer back to it.

Also, to go on a bit, I think the crux of the show isn't so much that it's about nothing, but that all of the main characters play a more-or-less equal role in carrying out the show. There are all these simultaneous goings on and reactions to the same thing (eg, everyone's response to going out of town for a weekend, or going to the opera or Jerry's date's panties) and all the reactions occur while the characters are going about their daily lives so they're often just hanging out or working or talking on the phone (unlike the average sit-com style of following one or two main characters through one simple plot line from beginning to a total resolution and we never see the minor characters except when they're interacting with the star of the show and all the extraneous action is cut out) and so "Seinfeld" seems like a show about nothing even when its plot devices can be so contrived (like the opera/psycho clown deal).

I think it was great the way they ended the show. They could have used a ... (To Be Continued) but instead they ended with a ! (bang). The look of Jerry's and Elaine's faces at the realization that not only have they failed to escape from psycho-clown but also that the pscho-clown has the seat RIGHT NEXT to them was hilarious.

I thought the show was quite hilarious.

     I agree, he is a psycho, we also can see that he's a big guy (know
     wonder why everybody is afraid of him.) What we didn't really know,
     until the park scene, was that, unfortunately for Jerry, that he is
     a very good fighter too.

That sounds just like George, doesn't it?
