Does anyone know if Kramer wrote the book "Astonishing Tales of the Sea" in the Andrea Doria episode?

If he says "It's in a book I own called "Astonishing Tales of the Sea". it is a bit too wordy and awkward. When he refers to the "Astound Bear Attacks" It is clearly one he owns, not wrote.
