I've heard a few references to this episode but so far in Australia I've never seen it ....could somebody please answer my questions...
1. Brief outline of episode 2. Why the hell would shower heads be illegal in America ? 3. Should I bring some over in February with me to give to all of my hosts since we can buy them here for $10 in KMART. ??? (JOKE)

It's a joke. They were 'black market' shower heads. Much more water pressure than the store bought ones. These, you have to buy on the street from the trunk of someone's car.

Hey, I own a pharmacy and I was working one Sunday and an American tourist came in with a huge KMart bag full of $10 shower heads that he said were impossible to get in the US - I just find that as bizarre as matress lables. !!! (no offence intended...sorry). :)
