In "The Dealership", the whole concept of the Candy Lineup makes no sense.
1. The candy machine ran out of Twix bars, thanks to the mechanic with the short name (Ned, Moe, Lem, Sol, whatever).
How did George therefore obtain ten Twix bars to make the Candy Lineup, and why didn't he eat any before testing people with it to at least relieve his hunger?

you need to consider that whilst George is tight and has a sweet tooth (Bosco) more than anything he doesn't like being screwed. When he is being screwed he gets very belligerent. The fat greedy mechanic was eating George's Twix bar with which George used his money to purchase. You also need to remember that it took George an hour (took him an hour?) to prepare the candy line up (with no wrappers or identification of any kind) thus giving him adequate time to source both money and twix bars. There was a mental hospital quite near there so maybe he secured his candy line up from there.

Sorry the theory dosen't hold water. George at the end of the episode is stuffing his face with a sandwich in a cab. Let's just call it artistic license..:-)

The sandwich is not an issue - they take a cab to go home, stop to pick up George a sandwich, and Jerry pays for it. The candy lineup is what doesn't make sense, not the sandwich.

No, it is entirely feasible. Remember, George had and hour to do this (took him an hour?), there was a mental hospital right near there and the mechanic was a pie eating, twix scoffing fat bastard. George had pleanty of time, he could have gotten the twix bars from the mental hospital or even the pie face grease monkey's (although I don't care for the term) locker. Also, remember the Jerry was getting a good deal from Putty so maybe he loaned George some money. I think the sadnwich was a distraction.

Maybe the mental hospital real near Puddy's work was the one Steinbrenner got George committed to. If that is the case George would know ehere the twix were in the institution.

Rob, I got just the opposite impression.I beleive George had lost it completely over the candy. He finaally loses it all the end wit his scream to the ceiling.
