I have a nit-picky question about the show (so what's new right?)...

How did Kramer know there was a naked woman walking around across from Jerry's apartment.

The window that they used to view the naked woman across the way, seems to be directly opposite the hallway door leading to Kramer's apartment. This would eliminate the "shared wall / shared view" theory of how Kramer knew there was a naked woman out there when he first burst into Jerry's apartment.
NOPE, because according to your drawing Kramer would have a much better and more "private" view from his own appartment. Therefore the woman's appt has to be at least 15-20 lines lower than you estimated. My theory: there was a second viewer.....

Not quite. Jerry's front door is on the same wall as the cereal -- i.e., OPPOSITE the window. And Kramer's front door is opposite Jerry's. My drawing's not as pretty as yours, but I think it's more accurate and lends to the question of how Kramer knew about the nekked woman.

While it's never mentioned, I just assumed that Kramer saw the woman from the street, then scurried up to tell Jerry about it. Or, perhaps Kramer has another friend in the building whose apartment faces in the same direction as Jerry's.

This would make sense, since Kramer spends most of the rest of the show watching her from Jer's place.

Nice try, all. First off, there _is_ stuff at D, besides the bathroom, including a hallway (implying at least TWO rooms) and Jerry's bedroom. So if you were to place the Naked Lady's apartment (let's give it the capital letters it deserves) at {X}, Kramer would have a hard time seeing the window.
Plus, even the narrowest of NYC (that's New York City for those of you who don't know) streets are much wider than the diagram indicates, so the {X} would have to be placed farther left than it is, meaning that Kramer would have too oblique an angle to be able to see anything through the window.
Combine this from the fact that the camera angle was approximately from [N], as I have added in the diagram, and the characters were looking at the camera directly. So the apartment would have to be below the placement in the original diagram, or at most certainly not above the original placement.
Most likely, Kramer saw something from the street, and hurried upstairs to Jerry's window (knowing full well that he couldn't see from his own) to check it out.
This is also problematic, since Jerry and Kramer both live on the 5th floor, making any siting from the street extremely unlikely.
Just a mystery which will remain unsolved...UNLESS THERE WAS A SECOND WINDOW. Hypothetically let's say that Kramer was in Newman's apartment for some unknown and unknowable reason (but isn't this always the case with Kramer?), and happened to catch a glimpse from there. We know that Newman's apartment is on the same side as Jerry's and below it on the diagram which is at the beginning of the post (I have "pencilled" it in).
Any thoughts?

The way the camera was placed loses something in the diagram we have here. In fact, it seems clear to me that the apartment is someways DOWN from Jerry's, most likely about the third floor. And, as we know, Jerry's street is rather wide, as is seen by George's ability to turn the car around (when he substituted for the guy who moved peoples' cars around so they wouldn't get tickets) in the street, AND the incident where he has the parking dispute. If we base the apartment's location on where it is actually filmed (the outside shots only of course (which incidentally is easily reachable from Columbia University)) and the location of Tom's Restaraunt then in fact it is a 6 lane road, with one lane on each side being used for parking space, AND a middle divider. Clearly, Kramer approaching his building from the opposite side of the street could easily look up at a third floor apartment, and race up to tell Jerry about it.....

Remember, Kramer has a set of keys for Jerry's apartment. More than likely, he was there in Jerry's apartment when Jerry was on tour or just simply when Jerry was out, and noticed the naked lady first from Jerry's window.
Just a possibility.
