The Donna Chang(stein) Connection

Like I said in an earlier post the writers are messing with our heads.They change (or ignore) the clues they furnish us with over the course of episodes. Donna Chang(stein) is a prime example of this. When asked what Donna was if shewasn't oriental Jerry says that Donna is just like Elaine. The inference being that benes like Changstein was Jewish. Need I say more?

"She's just like you" doesn't necessarily mean that. It could mean that they're both (Donna and Elaine) white women from NY with non-descript ethnic heritages. Just a point. I don't have an opinion myself about whether Elaine is Jewish.

Yes, you should say more. Jerry's reference to Donna Chang being like Elaine is that both are Caucasian. I would love to believe that the world is that unaware of racial differences, but cannot believe that one could overlook the obvious.

or maybe they just aren't as good with conituity as we'd like them to be. some shows have trouble getting scenes right just changing camera angles. i've never watched another show that's been able to keep as many running jokes and bit characters going for as long as "seinfeld".

or the inference is that donna is a gorgous caucasian.
