Fans discuss whether people would bring their own syrup to a restaurant if the restaurant's syrup is poor quality, with some calling it tacky and lacking grace.

do some people actually bring their own syrup to the restaurant [for the pancakes]? i would if their syrup is lousy.

I wouldn't bring my own syrup. If the restaurant's syrup is lousy, I'd order something else on the menu. In the meantime I'd keep searching for the restaurant that serves the perfect syrup.
