Fans debate whether George's repeated romantic failures and relationship disasters suggest he may have been secretly bisexual or struggling with hidden homosexuality.
Now and then the writers seemed to hint that George was a tad gay; maybe bisexual is a better word. He clearly sought women, but every relationshp ended in disaster. Maybe he was bi but fighting it, not wanting to admit the truth to himself. It would have killed his parents, self-absorbed in their own pettiness that they may be. I can just imagine the argument between the parents over which one was at fault, maximum volume.
