Jamie Gerz

I thought Alex's only other major girlfriend on Family Ties was Courtney Cox, the one from the Bruce Springsteen video. Comments?

Without going into how suitable she is for a Seinfeld show, does anyone else agree that Jamie Gertz looks even better than she used to? I was really impressed, but then I've always liked her. A long time ago she was on Letterman on her b-day, and he gave her a garnet he dug out of a bag of cat- food. She took it very well. Martin

Over 10 years ago, she was Buffy (?) the preppy on Square Pegs, a minor classic show that never got a chance. She was also on Facts Of Life as Boots, who was essentially the same character as the one she played on Square Pegs. And, yes, she appeared on at least one episode of Family Ties, even though she was not a recurring character. As for dramatic roles, she's been in the feature films Less Than Zero and the Lost Boys. Muffy... and she's had bit parts on lots of sitcoms, there was a new show a couple of years ago centered around her and her two sisters, but it didn't last long

So, I am a TV buff...about Jamie Gertz, anyway. she also stared in a sitcom about three years ago which didn't last very long. On the show Marsha Mason played her mother and the Famus Teddy Z, played her father. C-Ya

I assume you meant Alex Rocco, which implies you meant the show Sibs. I think Marsha Mason played Gertz's sister, and Rocco was Mason's husband.

i think jon cryer is about 3 years younger, maybe only 2, but alex rocco was the brother-in-law in sibs - steph g.
