Question about "The Fatigues"

When Frank is remembering the Korean War, he says about one of the soldiers that ate his food, "he had a crater in his colon the size of a _________." I can't make out what he said. Can someone please help me?

In last night's rerun, Frank says of one of the men who ate his food "he had a crater in his colon the size of a _________". I couldn't make out what he said. Can someone please help me?

On further thought, maybe it was "the size of a Cutlass" (large car)

He said that it was the size of a "cutlet" tuen on the captions next time

Does that really make sense? Cutlet? Sometimes the captions are wrong. I think that "Cutlass" makes a funnier joke anyway.

I'm not positive, but I think he said 'cutlet'.
