Fans debate the quality of fan-transcribed Seinfeld scripts, with one person claiming many contain spelling errors while another defends the transcribers' work and offers to help improve scripts.

I've red a lott of Steinfield skripts and was wonduring if there is at leest WON skript that dusn't have at leest fefteen-twinty speliing misstakes. Who transtribes theese skripts nine-yeer old immagrunts?

Hey now--I transcribed The Gymnast, and I don't believe it contains any errors. I even spelled "Ceausescu" correctly, not to mention the accent aigu on "ï¿½clair". And it's not easy transcribing Kramer's description of Katya's Olympic performance if you've never heard gymnastics terms like "kip" or "reverse hecht".

Y'know, you COULD help out by taking an existing script, proofreading it, and submitting the revised version. But that's probably more difficult than taking potshots from the sidelines, eh?

I transcribed/or corrected 14 episodes and worked really hard to make sure they are complete and accurate -- they are available at Seinolgy.com and Mike's site.

And I agree, Kramer is a challeng (to say the least) -- the scene in The Pool Guy, describing the sound "When Worlds Collide" -- also the sound of "sawing through bone" in The Junior Mint -- very tough.
