Puddy will carry a successful spinoff series.

Fans praise Patrick Warburton's deadpan Puddy character for his minimalist humor and consistently hilarious moments, debating whether he could sustain a spinoff series.

... that kills me so consistently?

My SEINFELD watching buddy and I both practically jump out of our chairs when Patrick Warbuton shows up. This week's "It feels like an Arby's night," the classic "8-Ball," "I'm not the one going to Hell," or Kramer's call to Puddy about installing the disposal -- "It's Kramer." "Yeah, I know." -- are moments that reduce me to absolute hysteria.

Is it the minimalism of it all, the total deadpan, or is it trying to detect any brain activity at all behind that stone face? I can't figure out why Puddy has become one of the highlights of my week in such a short time.

Whatever it is, I'll miss it once the show ends.

I wanted a drink a couple of hours ago, and this was all I could find." (sobs) "My breath smells like a monkey's asshole." -- Hank Kingsley, THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW.

Same here.

When Puddy first came along, I thought, "Ugh . . . what a goob."

But now it's more like, "YEAH! What a goob!"

I would love to see more of Puddy in the future, but could he carry a spinoff? Is it possible to make him interesting and funny for an entire half-hour every week? Could it work?

He worth it as long as its in small doses. I don't think I could take half-hour of it week after week. This is my personal opinion, of course. We will have to see whether or not this will translate into a succesful spin-off. There has to be something more than just Puddy doing his schtick: more and interesting characters, good writing, and some sort of storyline.

Did the new show get canned he is on? He plays a policeman and is totally Puddy. I can't remember the name of it. Only saw it once, so I don't have an opinion. Also, did anyone notice that the crazy mechanic that stole Jerry's car in the episode that Elaine had purchased Kennedy's golf clubs was like the first Puddy. He was very similar in his acting.

Who gives a f**k?

I preferred him in Dave's World. I liked that show but it was killed by the "ever changing time slot" that has killed so many other good shows. I know it's off topic but does anyone know what Harry Anderson is doing now?
