Well, we had a wonderful festivus. First, we put up the pole, which was purchased at Hechingers. Then we scrapped our plans for festivus and headed for the local Mexican restaurant. On the way, however, a festivus miracle! We ran into a friend and her boyfriend (they were on their way to our place) so the 6 of us had festivus dinner at the restaurant, complete with airing of grievances, where the boyfriend, who had no idea what was going on, got in a big Seinfeldian arguement with our friend over something like whether or not the other makes funny noises while asleep. The airing of the grievances was a huge success. Then we returned to the house for another festivus miracle: three people showed up separately: friends who are never together (they live all over the place) and were briefly reunited on this festivus occasion. We had some feets of strength, and eventually announced that this had been the best festivus ever.
