Yeah, in the end it was Jerry who would feel responsible for the impeachment of his father since the whole thing started after he bought his dad the car.
I watched it on Global. Was it cropped on NBC? All I saw was Jerry telling his parents, "The bags are in the car. We should get going." and the whole family mournfuly walks to the Caddy with the neighbours tearfully watching on (with, I think, Nixon music playing -- never saw the movie).
Then, before entering his car, Morty turns and waves with a big 'Nixon' grin and the family drives away.
Was there something else that we all missed, or was this scene cropped from NBC's broadcast?
