For my film course I've decided to write about product placement, and as an example of this, Seinfeld. I have created a short little survey that I would like you to take some time out of your busy day to answer. And anything else that you feel will contribute to my paper, please feel free to do so.

I am 15 years old and am a sophmore at Cox High School. I always watch Seinfeld every week (Rerun or Brand New). I have noticed products such as the Junior Mints and I was encouraged to see Edward Scissorhands since I never saw it before. Hope that helps in you survey

One thing I have noticed above all else is that Jerry has more cereal than I have EVER seen in one place. But you never seem to see him eat it except in the Yogurt episode. Also he has a Mac computer which is a more powerful one than he had last season but he never uses it.>

I don't remember commercials as they apply to individual shows. Except there are lots of car ads during sports contests.

As a note to your assignmnet, it may be a good idea to watch other shows, esp other comedies, to see if there is also product placement in them and then try to determine whether Seinfeld is more blatant or subtle than the competetition. My guess is that Seinfeld is merely more blatant. Good luck
